As I am writing this, I am huddled and squished together between human bodies, escaping the thunder and rain, a single wooden door separating me from being hit by lightning.

•Outside thunder is roaring as lightning illuminates the, from clouds darkened, sky. The streaming rain is building a thick curtain, separating our world from theirs. Rain is splattering onto the water, creating ripples that blur the mirrored image of the clouded sky and grey buildings all around, as we stare at the wonders of nature’s destruction. We, who have the gift, know who is responsible for this weather; the Summer Courts king and queen with their unpredictable emotions.
•As we strode through the domains of the Dark Court, I spotted several doors, hidden by black flowers, and solitary shadows, dancing for the Dark Court’s defeat over the Summer and Winter court.
•A screeching erupted the air, waking me from yet another dreamless night in my new home. I threw my eyes open, but as sudden as the noise had come, it had left again. Slowly I let my eyes wonder across my room until they fell upon my great grandmother’s closet. As I slid out of bed, I felt invisible hand reach out to me, pulling me towards the closed doors. I wandered across the room, oblivious to the multiple boxes standing around until I was only several feet away, but still close enough to reach out for the handle.

These are just a few examples of unfinished work, eager to be continued until the last letter has been written.

As most people don’t know about me, I find it hard to finish a project, due to the lack of confidence in myself and my work. Now, we all have flaws that keep us from perfection, which in my point of view, is a great thing! I only have to imagine how a flawless life would be like, and shivers roll down my back!

Of course, “erfection” is what most people strive for, but is it really what we want, or just something propaganda is trying to make us believe, so we will buy the multiple products they introduce to us every day!? If I were perfect, I’d find life way too boring!

One thing only few know, people are like paper. To understand what I mean by this abstract statement, imagine a paper filled with squares, all the same size. Now I’d find it very boring just to look at it. But then imagine how exciting it would be to be a paper filled with squiggles?!?! Just imagine how unpredictable it would be! (Plus, squiggles are just way cooler than squares. Every kid knows that!)

So I hope you see my point here. Accept your flaws, however annoying they may be, and just live life using every opportunity! And if you make a mistake, BIG DEAL! It happens to everyone, therefore accept other’s flaws too, and don’t make them feel down, just ‘cause they are different.
